Hoftollar is an exciting way to contribute to the success of the Asatru Folk Assembly. Hoftollar, meang "Hof Toll", was a public tax used in Iceland to support the temples to our Gods and their Gothar. In our modern usage, the Hoftollar is percentage based giving as is common in most churches. The minimum percentage to donate under Hoftollar is 1% of your income. This income based method of contribution has had a massive impact on the AFA being able to fulfill our mission. Hoftollar also allows our Folk, whether they are are experiencing hardships or great wealth and success, to give a fair amount.

If you select the Hoftollar plan, we ask that you make an initial Hoftollar donation of $33 based on 1% of the median American monthly personal income. After this initial donation, your Hoftollar donation will be arranged with you by your Folkbuilder upon completion of your membership approval process and can take into account your initial donation of $33.

Also available are monthly and annual recurring donations at set amounts, which can be made at the time of your membership application right on this website!

I declare that I have accepted the religion of my ancestors, known as Asatru, as my own, and that I have studied the beliefs of the Asatru Folk Assembly as expressed in its literature. All that I have indicated on this application is true. I understand that false statements made here may result in my application being denied or revoked.
